About the Role

We are seeking a Cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals for senior living residents, their families, and guests. Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, the Cook will study recipes, set up menus, and deliver high‑quality dishes while adhering to sanitation regulations. The role also includes accurate record‑keeping, receiving, rotating inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance, ultimately providing a complete menu that delights our senior community. • Prepare and serve quality meals, including texture‑modified dishes for special dietary needs. • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, labeling, and record‑keeping requirements. • Monitor food preparation, storage, and temperature logs for hot, cold, refrigerator, and freezer units. • Maintain accurate inventory by receiving, rotating, and documenting product supplies.

What You Bring

This is a full‑time position with every other weekend or partial weekend shifts, scheduled for at least 30 hours per week, and offering an hourly wage of $22.00–$24.00. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a current (or obtainable) ServSafe certification, and at least one year of related food preparation experience. Physical duties involve standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and using fine and gross motor skills. The associate must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lb and use proper body mechanics while performing these tasks. • Hold or obtain a current ServSafe certification. • Possess at least one year of experience with full‑line menu items and special diets. • Demonstrate strong organizational, time‑management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and use proper body mechanics.
