Job Highlights
About the Role
The role works 45 hours per week, with two hours banked toward a Saturday‑Sunday on‑call shift every seven weeks, effectively giving you a 43‑hour weekday schedule. You will carry out fabrication repairs on refrigeration equipment—including cold rooms, shop‑floor cabinets, and integral doors or fittings—while adhering to Arcus and client health and safety procedures and meeting strict service‑level agreements. • Perform fabrication repairs on refrigeration equipment (cold rooms, cabinets, doors, fittings). • Complete job lists within preset times and meet agreed service level agreements. • Follow all Arcus and client health & safety procedures. • Work mainly independently, with occasional teamwork in small Fabric Engineer groups. • Perform basic electrical repairs, including trim heater and defrost heater replacement. • Utilize a company‑provided private van and specialist tools.

What You Bring
Arcus is seeking experienced Refrigeration Fabric Engineers who are fed up with long hours, excessive travel, and spending too much time in a van. Although the position is largely independent, you will occasionally collaborate with a small team of Fabric Engineers, so strong teamwork and an easy‑going nature are essential. You will receive support with the computer system and will not require hand‑holding on repair tasks, given your experience. • Hold NICEIC Accessory Course certification. • Experience installing and repairing cold rooms and cabinets.
