About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer III‑IV you will represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members while delivering trade‑specific system design, layout using CAD/BIM, performing calculations, and coordinating with other trades alongside senior technical staff. • Prepare calculations, reports, and specifications for mechanical systems. • Perform fire suppression system selection and develop preliminary designs and performance specifications. • Consult on existing facility diligence, sustainability analyses, and feasibility studies. • Produce drawings that meet client requirements and company standards. • Provide engineering support to senior staff and coordinate with architectural and engineering trades.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer III‑IV to join our team in Atlanta, GA. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university. • 3.5–7+ years of experience in a consulting engineering firm. • Proficiency with Revit and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP. • Ability to create red‑line markups for CAD coordination. • Skilled at reading and visualizing floor plans, sections, elevations, and 3‑D building models. • Expertise in trade‑specific design and calculation software, with strong system selection knowledge. • Thorough understanding of applicable codes and the work of other trades. • Knowledge of SKM software for short‑circuit coordination and arc‑flash studies (preferred). • EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
