About the Role

Key duties include using computer systems to perform cycle counts of components, analyzing count data to identify root causes, and correcting errors through transaction audits. The employee will operate forklifts and cranes, receive, document, store, stage, and issue materials to meet production needs, and support assembly and fabrication as required. Additional tasks involve packaging, labeling, and banding items for safe shipment, adhering to safety and industrial hygiene standards, and performing routine preventative maintenance on equipment. • Perform cycle counts and analyze results to determine root causes and corrective actions. • Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials. • Receive, document, store, stage, and issue job‑related material to satisfy production requirements. • Package, band, and label items to minimize damage during shipping or staging. • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. • Follow all safety and industrial hygiene protocols, using required personal protective equipment. • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.

What You Bring

This position is located at our Sumter, SC facility and does not include relocation assistance. The role provides manufacturing expertise and support in the Shipping area, handling material allocation, planning, scheduling, verification, receiving, and shipping in both the Front and Back Storerooms. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Sumter and legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, broad knowledge of materials planning, scheduling, receiving, shipping, and inventory control, and forklift/crane operation experience. Candidates must be computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Word, DMM, AS400, Mapics, Vista, and Outlook. The position requires a collaborative, self‑starting attitude, ability to multitask, strong problem‑solving skills, professionalism with suppliers, and a commitment to quality and 5S workplace organization. • Possess high school diploma or GED and reside within 50 miles of Sumter, SC. • Demonstrate computer proficiency in Excel, Word, DMM, AS400, Mapics, Vista, and Outlook. • Exhibit strong collaborative and self‑starter abilities, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
