About the Role
Technicians will deliver the highest level of service, solving facility inefficiencies and addressing service‑related issues. Acting as trusted advisers, they will offer solutions during commissioning and aftermarket service, provide recommendations, upsell opportunities, and generate quotes to support those recommendations. • Perform startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket service on air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers, AHUs, and roof‑top units. • Repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw‑chiller components. • Provide customers with service recommendations, efficiency solutions, and detailed quotes. • Identify upselling opportunities and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program. • Travel 10–20% to support branch customers for installations and service calls. • Prioritize safety and adhere to all safety protocols.

What You Bring
Skilled HVAC Technicians with experience on air‑cooled or water‑cooled chillers, air handling units, or roof‑top ducted units are needed. JCI provides factory certification through its Service Technical Academy, monetary rewards, incentive programs, and supplies tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to enable top‑level service. Candidates must have at least three years of hands‑on experience with chillers, AHUs, or roof‑top units and strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting skills. Membership in the United Association (or willingness to join) and the ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw‑chiller components are required. Occasional travel of 10‑20% to support branch customers is expected, and a knowledge examination must be passed. Employees will enroll in training programs, including JCI’s Service Technical Academy, to deepen product knowledge and sales quoting abilities. The role demands attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, the capacity to produce accurate quotes, and participation in the Service Plus Rewards program. Safety is a top priority, and a universal EPA refrigerant license, applicable state licensing, and a valid driver’s license are required. • Hold or obtain United Association membership and maintain a valid EPA refrigerant license and driver’s license. • Complete JCI’s Service Technical Academy training and pass the required knowledge examination.

This is a bargaining‑unit position with a target hourly rate of $34.00 and union‑backed benefits as defined by the collective bargaining agreement.
