About the Role
HDR is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, design, construction support, and commissioning of data‑center and mission‑critical projects. The role will oversee cross‑functional design groups from concept to completion, collaborate with regional engineering leaders and global TMT client managers, and help expand HDR’s reputation in the technology, media, and telecom market. • Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods to meet business goals. • Manage and lead multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. • Travel 10‑20% of the time, including international sites, to support project execution. • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate international project needs. • Control project budget, scope, and schedule throughout the lifecycle. • Ensure deliverables meet HDR quality standards. • Oversee forecasting, invoicing, and contract management. • Promote HDR through regular client interactions and presentations. • Recruit mission‑critical staff in partnership with the Business Group Manager. • Create proposal content, including scope, schedule, and budget. • Lead HDR presentations during client interviews. • Coordinate with local office leads, business group leads, technical directors, and marketing managers.

What You Bring
The position offers flexibility to support international projects, requires occasional travel to client sites or HDR offices, and emphasizes strong organizational and follow‑through skills. Successful candidates will also contribute to new‑business development, client engagement, and proposal creation. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • Minimum 7 years of data‑center or mission‑critical project experience. • At least 2 years of project‑management experience. • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (Access a plus). • Demonstrated leadership and strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
