About the Role
The foreman must understand and apply MasTec’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies as well as industry standards such as OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, and ANSI. They oversee daily operations, maintain paperwork, coordinate with customers, and ensure all equipment and vehicles remain operational. • Lead daily site construction work to meet production goals. • Implement MasTec Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. • Apply OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, and ANSI standards on‑site. • Oversee daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites. • Maintain and upload all required documentation and closeout paperwork. • Coordinate site activities with customer representatives and maintain relationships. • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to crew members. • Ensure equipment and vehicles are operational and safe. • Validate daily timesheets for management. • Mentor new and less experienced technicians. • Solve complex problems with a hands‑on approach. • Maintain FDOT log books (training provided). • Lead, teach, and enforce proper work and safety procedures.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates prioritize safety, have a high school diploma or GED, and bring at least five years of industry experience including welding and structural modification. They possess strong construction, rigging, and safety knowledge, hold relevant certifications, can read technical plans, and have a valid driver’s license. • Possess industrial welding experience and structural modification expertise. • Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and high‑quality workmanship. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of industry experience. • Expertise in construction, rigging, and general industry knowledge. • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations; WSA certification a plus. • Hold relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and equipment‑specific training. • Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOWs. • Valid driver’s license meeting company policy conditions. • Physically fit: able to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per day.
