About the Role
The role focuses on monitoring inventory levels across the network, comparing current and projected stocks to financial targets and entitlement. The incumbent participates in S&OE meetings, reports inventory progression for ME and MPS visibility, and prepares aligned inventory expectations for the monthly forecasting process. They also run inventory scenarios in Kinaxis based on S&OE/RCCP inputs. Accountability includes updating product segmentation and assortment in coordination with network planners and SIOP, and setting inventory parameters such as reorder points, safety stock, MOQ, and replenishment policies for both finished goods and raw materials within SAP and Kinaxis. Monitoring service levels at distribution centers and plants, adjusting safety stock, and leading cross‑functional inventory reduction projects are also key responsibilities. Scenario analysis in Kinaxis is used to evaluate the impact of policy changes on total network inventory. The role conducts root‑cause analyses of inventory pain points, establishes data‑driven target levels, and drives execution of MRP prioritized actions across network nodes. It maintains master data related to inventory parameters, tracks excess and obsolete stock, and produces daily MIS reports covering key metrics such as aging, non‑nettable inventory, and tier‑4 indicators. Additionally, the incumbent works on materials‑management process improvements and trains users on Kinaxis from a super‑user perspective. • Analyze current and forecasted inventory against targets, pinpoint causes of variance, and implement corrective actions. • Report inventory status during S&OE meetings for Manufacturing Execution (ME) and Master Production Schedule (MPS) visibility. • Generate and align monthly forecast inventory expectations for senior leadership. • Execute Kinaxis scenario modeling based on S&OE/RCCP inputs to support network planning. • Update product segmentation and assortment data in collaboration with network and SIOP planners. • Define inventory parameters (ROP, safety stock, MOQ, min/max, replenishment policies) for finished goods and raw materials in SAP/Kinaxis. • Monitor service levels at distribution centers and plants, adjusting safety stock as needed. • Lead cross‑functional inventory reduction initiatives and track monthly progress. • Conduct root‑cause analyses of inventory pain points and develop improvement plans. • Maintain master data for inventory parameters and oversee excess & obsolete (E&O) stock remediation. • Produce daily MIS reports covering inventory, receipts, tier‑4 metrics, aging, and non‑nettable inventory. • Train and support material‑management users on Kinaxis from a super‑user perspective.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold an engineering degree or an MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, Materials, or Production, with 7‑12 years of experience in inventory management and material planning in a global setting. Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSCP, PMP) and solid expertise in SIOP, MRP, and demand‑supply challenges are preferred. Technical proficiency includes advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SAP ERP, and familiarity with Power BI, SQL, and Kinaxis. Strong communication, presentation, problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills are essential. • Hold an engineering degree or MBA in Operations/Supply Chain with 7–12 years of global inventory and material‑planning experience. • Possess CPIM, CSCP, or PMP certification (preferred). • Demonstrate strong knowledge of SIOP, MRP, demand‑supply balancing and inventory management. • Proficient in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SAP ERP, with exposure to Power BI, SQL, and Kinaxis. • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills across geographies. • Show proven problem‑solving, strategic thinking, influencing abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
