• Design and maintain embedded and application-level software; develop automation scripts and tools in Python, Bash, Shell, and C/C++. • Integrate avionics, mission payloads, flight controllers, and subsystems, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance standards. • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot tactical and airborne networks, including RF links and embedded communications. • Diagnose and resolve electromechanical, avionics, and embedded software issues in lab and field settings. • Use Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw) for system modeling, requirements tracking, and design validation. • Create and execute test plans, validate performance, maintain traceability, and analyze results for improvements. • Produce technical documentation such as integration guides, test reports, troubleshooting manuals, and white papers. • Obtain and maintain required technical certifications or safety training.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integrations Engineer to develop, integrate, and deploy platform and avionics systems for our next‑generation unmanned aerial systems. The role demands strong avionics integration, systems engineering, and cross‑domain troubleshooting skills across embedded systems, networking, and RF communications. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure rigorous performance and reliability standards in a fast‑paced environment. To comply with ITAR and other U.S. government export regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • Minimum 5 years experience in Systems or Avionics Engineering. • Hands‑on experience with systems integration, troubleshooting, and field operations. • Strong networking expertise (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, wireless) in tactical environments. • Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows administration, command‑line operations. • Programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, Shell, C/C++; experience in embedded software development and automation. • Extensive troubleshooting of avionics, embedded systems, RF equipment, and integrated hardware/software stacks. • Familiarity with Software Defined Radios (SDR) setup, integration, and tuning. • Strong technical writing for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required. • Experience integrating, testing, and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. • Expertise developing comprehensive test plans, managing requirements traceability, and conducting verification/validation. • Knowledge of DoD standards, acquisition requirements, and operational protocols. • Familiarity with virtualization/containerization tools (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes). • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for embedded systems and tactical networks. • Awareness of FAA regulatory frameworks and airworthiness certification for unmanned aerial systems. • Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically/internationally. • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record. • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. • Physically capable of working in austere field environments and adverse weather conditions.
