About the Role

The manager will contribute lessons learned and best practices to the QISG Quality Management System (ISO 9001), manage contract and project documentation, verify design‑build and EPC quality requirements, and develop audit plans with schedules and resource needs. They will monitor compliance with legal and regulatory standards, report performance metrics, approve quality plans and inspection reports, and conduct independent audits to evaluate implementation and effectiveness. Responsibilities also include document control, ensuring up‑to‑date job‑site documents, and non‑conformance control by tracking and resolving issues. The role provides leadership and guidance to quality staff, conducts training, drives continuous‑improvement initiatives through root‑cause analysis, and interacts regularly with construction, corporate support, project controls, and clients. • Lead the field quality team through planning, execution, and project close‑out. • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and client specifications. • Create and implement project audit plans, including schedule and resource allocation. • Verify and enforce quality requirements for design‑build and EPC projects. • Conduct independent audits and surveillance to assess compliance and effectiveness. • Manage document control, ensuring job‑site drawings and records are current and properly stored. • Oversee non‑conformance identification, tracking, and resolution. • Report quality performance metrics promptly to senior management. • Provide training and awareness on quality management plans to project teams. • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives through root‑cause analysis and corrective actions. • Coordinate with operating units, subcontractors, construction, corporate support, and clients. • Lead quality discussions in project kick‑off meetings and guide team members. • Apply advanced Procore tools to execute the quality program. • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. • Utilize critical path scheduling and KPI analysis to inform quality decisions.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with at least five years of design quality management experience, or an associate’s degree with seven years, or twelve years of relevant experience. Required qualifications include successful development of quality programs, advanced Procore proficiency, supervision of quality staff, multi‑state code knowledge, safety and environmental expertise, OSHA 10‑hour and 30‑hour certifications, and strong analytical and scheduling skills. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s in construction management, electrical or civil engineering, CMQ/OE certification, and additional certifications in inspection, testing, and welding. Desired experience encompasses five years in EPC, design‑build, or CMAR projects and ten years in engineering design quality management within the power delivery sector.
