About the Role
As a Project Architect you will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee architectural layout and detailing, coordinate project phases, ensure code compliance, and maintain quality through reviews and documentation. • Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team through all project phases • Perform architectural layout and detailing • Conduct owner/client and internal meetings; manage code compliance reviews • Lead site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines • Schedule and coordinate team workload to meet document deadlines • Review architectural documents for interdisciplinary conflicts • Conduct QA/QC and technical reviews • Write and edit architectural specifications • Assist disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders • Incorporate approved changes into project documents • Lead projects in a dual management capacity as required • Provide construction contract administration

What You Bring
• Master’s degree in Architecture (preferred) • Experience with healthcare, educational, civic, science, or research facilities (preferred) • Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED (preferred) • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3‑DS Max, Rhino, and Grasshopper (preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (required) • Minimum 5 years of architectural experience (required) • Licensed/registered architect (required) • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related tools (required) • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Project) (required) • Excellent written, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities (required) • Skilled in preparing and laying out contract documents and specifications (required) • Strong knowledge of codes and planning (required) • Demonstrated graphic presentation abilities (required) • Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned, inclusive culture (required)
