About the Role
The Manager – Procurement is responsible for creating innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies and for sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors. This role ensures efficient purchase order approval, delivery coordination, and robust risk assessment of contracts. • Develop innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies. • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors. • Negotiate advantageous terms with suppliers and vendors. • Review existing contracts to ensure ongoing feasibility. • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with vendors and suppliers. • Approve purchase orders and coordinate delivery of goods and services. • Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements. • Control the procurement budget and promote long‑term cost savings. • Oversee IT systems tracking shipments, inventory, and supply of goods. • Prepare procurement reports.
