About the Role
A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center or landfill. Responsibilities may include yard clean‑up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, office maintenance and other related duties. Principal responsibilities include cleaning work areas, fueling vehicles and equipment, cleaning track‑on‑track equipment, performing yard work such as mowing and paper pick‑up, operating site vehicles and equipment (water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment), maintaining and repairing the office (painting, janitorial work), installing temporary wind fences, directing traffic as needed, and other assigned tasks.

Pay range for the position is $14.20 to $19.52 per hour, reflecting local minimum wage rates; the exact rate depends on the hiring locality.
