About the Role
The role involves building and loading tooling, performing concentricity and alignment checks, and handling autonomous machine maintenance and process controls. Job Description: Electronic Beam Welder – full‑time position in Derby. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronic Beam Welder to join Rolls‑Royce. Candidates must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, follow complex build sequences and operate CNC machinery. Computer literacy—including use of web pages and spreadsheets—and training in lifting and slinging are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Statistical Process Control charts, a strong focus on process compliance and attention to detail, knowledge of critical part control, and the ability to achieve axial concentricity through manual clocking. • Perform lifting and slinging tasks (trained) • No relocation assistance; application deadline 6 Feb 2026; online assessment may be required
