About the Role
• Manage all phases of assigned projects from pre‑construction through close‑out. • Review pre‑construction documents and provide comments to designers. • Prepare status and progress reports for upper management. • Coordinate with public agencies and district staff to ensure off‑site compliance. • Control project budget and schedule, monitoring monthly financial status. • Oversee contractor daily activities, review schedules and submittals, and respond to RFIs. • Evaluate contractor substitution submittals for compliance with specifications. • Review, negotiate, and process contractor change order proposals and schedule impacts. • Track payments to contractors, architects, engineers, and other parties. • Administer professional service agreements between architects and the district. • Coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment. • Manage project close‑out, including DSA certification and financial closure.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least fifteen years of full‑time paid experience in construction or project management of commercial or public/educational facilities, with five years leading complex projects valued over $20 million. Preferred experience includes design‑build work, BIM, LEED or CHPS certification, familiarity with DSA processes, and OSHA 30 safety training. Education can be satisfied by a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management, by extensive experience combined with a CCM credential, or by holding a valid CCM credential. Applicants will be asked to submit an updated resume, any certifications or licenses, three to four professional references, and a project list detailing values, dates and employers. The successful candidate will join O2EPCM’s Facilities Services Division supporting the Los Angeles Unified School District. • Design‑build project experience. • Proficiency with Building Information Modeling (BIM). • Experience on LEED‑certified or CHPS projects. • Familiarity with Division of the State Architect (DSA) processes. • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training. • Valid California Architect registration or Professional Engineer license. • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential.

Benefits
The OAR II – Project Execution position is based onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with a salary range of $169,000 to $179,000 and is a full‑time, W‑2 role. The role offers full benefits, including 100 % paid health, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, sick leave, vacation and an Employee Assistance Program.
