About the Role
Assemblers perform a variety of production assembly tasks to meet specifications and maintain continuous production. Work is performed at a bench or conveyor line in an open‑air manufacturing setting and may include final assembly, sub‑assembly, and insulation tasks as needed. The role requires adherence to established standards and the ability to work in any area of the facility. Key duties include using hand and small power tools, following detailed instructions, and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders. Employees operate within standard operating procedures and job safety analyses, maintaining a clean work area and complying with all safety, health, and environmental policies. They also detect and report defective materials, perform first‑article inspections, and collaborate with other departments to meet customer expectations while demonstrating professionalism under pressure. • Use hand and small power tools to assemble final and sub‑assembly products. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, drawings, and shop orders. • Follow SOPs and Job Safety Analyses, ensuring proper PPE use and 5S compliance. • Perform first‑article inspections and report defective materials. • Collaborate with co‑workers, utilities, coordinators, and management to resolve issues. • Troubleshoot production problems and suggest process improvements. • Train on all assembly positions and product varieties across the facility. • Utilize Microsoft Office and ERP systems to retrieve production orders and inventory data. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to environmental policies. • Provide flexibility for overtime, shift changes, and coverage as needed. • Work in noisy, dusty environments with exposure to non‑toxic fumes, chemicals, grease, and oils. • Operate machinery, cranes, trucks, ladders, and scaffolding; work at heights and in confined spaces. • Stand or walk on hard concrete surfaces for extended periods and perform repetitive hand motions.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and engineering drawings in English are required. The position involves working in a noisy, dusty environment with exposure to non‑toxic fumes, chemicals, grease, and oils, and may require operation of machinery, cranes, trucks, ladders, and scaffolding. Physical demands include lifting up to 30 lb routinely, occasionally up to 50 lb, and standing or walking on concrete for extended periods, with the expectation of overtime and flexibility to shift coverage.
