About the Role

Interns will support assigned department(s) or project(s) by performing basic engineering tasks that reflect elements of a standard post‑secondary engineering curriculum, working under the guidance of senior engineers. Core duties include assisting engineering teams with research, development, and design activities; preparing engineering drawings and related documents; and carrying out other tasks as assigned by supervisors. • Assist engineering teams with research, development, and design tasks. • Prepare engineering drawings and related documentation. • Perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for deliverables.

What You Bring

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program. Preference is given to applicants who have completed at least two years of post‑secondary engineering study. The ideal intern understands basic engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles, shows proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, follows direction from peers and supervisors, and has an introductory understanding of shop‑drawing and submittal procedures. Ability to perform simple calculations and organize information for drawings or documents is also required. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED and be enrolled in an accredited engineering program. • Demonstrate basic knowledge of engineering, geometry, and algebra. • Show proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Understand introductory shop‑drawing and submittal procedures. • Prefer candidates with at least two years of post‑secondary engineering coursework completed.
