Senior Project Manager

About the Role

• Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring quality and meeting milestones. • Direct the project manager and report progress to the client. • Control project budgets and change management to stay within forecasted costs. • Maintain live risk registers and lead regular risk reviews with the wider team. • Lead design teams, consultants and stakeholders to promote collaboration and service excellence. • Administer contracts for contractors and consultants according to contractual terms. • Foster inclusivity, sustainability and innovation while upholding Mace values. • Oversee budgets, risks and change management, ensuring accurate plans and documentation.

The position is based three days per week at the client’s site in Weybridge, Surrey, and the remainder at Moorgate, London, and requires successful BPSS and SC clearance. • Hold a professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent. • Extensive public‑sector project and programme delivery experience. • Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management capabilities. • Proven new‑build delivery experience. • Experience across infrastructure and property (desirable).
