About the Role
The Financial Control Subject Matter Expert will manage day‑to‑day accounting, period‑close, intercompany and reporting activities within the RR GBS Record‑to‑Report function. The role ensures financial data is accurate, timely and complies with internal policies, IFRS or local GAAP, and statutory and tax requirements. • Maintain and update financial master data (chart of accounts, cost centres, internal orders) per corporate standards. • Post manual journal entries, provide reconciliations for audit queries, and resolve intercompany differences. • Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, prepare accruals/deferrals, and review trial balances for accuracy. • Prepare internal management reports and support statutory/regulatory reporting, liaising with business finance, tax advisors and auditors. • Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks (SoX, segregation of duties) and tax/statutory regulations, escalating risks as needed. • Lead ad‑hoc improvement projects and participate in user acceptance testing for system changes. • Apply strong problem‑solving, organizational and stakeholder‑management abilities within Record‑to‑Report processes.

The posting date for this finance role is 20 January 2026. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CA, CPA or ACCA qualification preferred. • Possess 5+ years of accounting/shared‑services experience with SAP ECC FI/CO and consolidation tools (BPC, Group Reporting, Hyperion, Blackline). • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills, including macros, and knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and foreign currency translation.
