Job Highlights
About the Role
The role joins a group of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists, working under Geotechnical leadership on water, wastewater, and transport infrastructure across New Zealand and the Asia‑Pacific region. The position involves planning and executing ground investigations, designing retaining walls, foundations, slopes, ground improvements or piles, and preparing detailed technical reports while advising clients on project solutions. Day‑to‑day responsibilities focus on understanding client requirements, acquiring and testing field data, producing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings, reviewing designs to technical standards, and delivering geotechnical inputs that meet budget, schedule and quality expectations. • Determine internal and external client requirements • Conduct and manage field data acquisition, site investigations and testing • Produce calculations, reports, specifications and drawings for geotechnical designs • Provide quality checks and technical reviews to appropriate standards • Deliver geotechnical expertise to meet project needs • Plan and deliver project inputs on budget, on time and to agreed quality standards

What You Bring
• Degree‑qualified Geotechnical Engineer with 3+ years experience, working towards CPEng • Experience in engineering consulting/contracting, preferably in NZ, Australia or Asia‑Pacific • Strong design background in water, bridge and transportation sectors • Proficiency with industry‑standard design software
