About the Role

The role involves collaborating with product management to derive technical specifications, designing both high‑level and low‑level architecture, and ensuring the right product is built through code and security reviews. • Engage with product management to understand product requirements and create technical specs • Produce high‑level and low‑level designs including component diagrams, sequence diagrams, technology choices, API specs, and database schemas • Conduct periodic code reviews with scrum teams to ensure the correct product is being built • Perform regular security and design reviews of peers • Obtain information from Product Owners and break down problems into smaller tasks • Contribute to design and code reviews and assist team members in troubleshooting/problem‑solving

Required experience includes 6+ years building scalable cloud‑native applications on AWS, proficiency with Java/Spring Boot, REST, microservices, SQL databases, and strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; additional knowledge of cloud security, performance optimization, and optional skills such as Golang, React, OAuth, SCIM, NoSQL, Redshift, and various AWS core services is beneficial. • Exhibit great communication skills • 6+ years experience building scalable cloud‑native applications • Proficient with various AWS tech stacks • Practitioner of cloud security, privacy, and compliance • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English • Knowledge of application performance and resource consumption optimization • Ability to simplify complex and abstract issues • Java, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, microservice pattern and related technologies • Golang, React, OAuth, SCIM (good to have) • NoSQL databases, Redshift (good to have) • AWS core constructs such as KMS, queues, notification services, cache, CloudWatch (good to have)
