About the Role
In this role, the supervisor guides the organization’s supplier quality program, ensuring that products meet engineering specifications and customer expectations. By coordinating with procurement, engineering, and production teams, the supervisor helps maintain product reliability and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain. The position operates in both office and manufacturing settings, exposing the incumbent to varying temperatures, dust, and noise, with occasional travel to supplier sites. Safety is paramount, as the role is classified as safety‑sensitive and requires adherence to all safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment. • Develop and implement supplier quality standards and metrics aligned with engineering and customer requirements. • Lead supplier audits and qualification processes, working with procurement and engineering to approve new suppliers. • Monitor supplier performance via data analysis, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions. • Resolve supplier‑related quality issues through root‑cause analysis and corrective measures. • Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement) to address quality concerns and support product reliability. • Prepare and present supplier quality reports and KPIs to leadership. • Manage, coach, and evaluate Quality Analysts, including hiring, training, and professional development.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and brings at least five years of experience in supplier or manufacturing quality, including a leadership component. Preferred qualifications include ASQ certifications, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, and hands‑on knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing, and statistical process control. • Require a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field. • Minimum 5 years of supplier/manufacturing quality experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. • Preferred certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP); Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher. • Experience with ISO 9001, auditing, and statistical process control. • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI. • Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
