About the Role
The Fire Construction Project Manager will lead one to two installation teams, coordinating services to ensure projects are completed efficiently from a central point. This role is responsible for delivering installations on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards. The manager acts as the primary contact for escalated problem resolution throughout each project’s lifecycle. Successful execution requires clear communication and decisive leadership. Key duties include defining project scope and statements of work, setting financial, service and quality targets, and determining staffing needs both at the national office and in the field. You will develop baseline schedules and budgets, identify risks, and create contingency plans while maintaining regular status reporting. Problem resolution must satisfy stakeholders without compromising core project goals, and post‑project reviews will be conducted to provide performance feedback. Supervisory responsibilities involve coaching and developing Project Installation Specialists. Additional tasks may be assigned to support workflow efficiency. • Supervise 1‑2 installation teams; ensure projects finish on time, within budget and quality standards • Develop scope, schedule, budget, staffing plan and risk mitigation for each installation project • Provide regular project status reporting and resolve escalated issues • Conduct post‑project reviews and coach Project Installation Specialists

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and bring 7–10 years of installation or field operations experience, including at least five years of project management. Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities are essential, as is the capacity to influence and adapt to differing viewpoints. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows and applications such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Access is required, and a PMP certification is preferred. A solid understanding of Johnson Controls’ products and services is also beneficial. • Require Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 7‑10 years of installation/field operations, including 5 years project management • Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills • Advanced MS Office proficiency (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access); PMP preferred
