About the Role

As a Senior Title Agent, you will lead the preparation and review of project reports and title document packages, guide complex encumbrance clearance, and serve as a strategic expert in your specialty. You will plan, organize, and supervise medium‑to‑large teams, train junior staff, and collaborate with project managers, surveyors, engineers, and underwriters to meet project timelines and budgets. • Prepare project reports and review title document packages • Review complex encumbrances and provide clearance recommendations per client standards • Examine Right‑Of‑Way centerline surveys when applicable • Serve as a strategic expert, resolving high‑level scope and complexity problems • Plan, organize, and supervise medium to large staff of professionals and technicians • Train junior staff on task completion and procedures • Interpret legal descriptions, including metes and bounds, subdivisions, and centerlines • Oversee schedule and budget for title project reports in support of the Project Manager • Maintain accurate records of title research per local, county, state, and federal requirements • Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to provide problem‑solving recommendations • Work closely with Project Manager, client, and title manager/underwriter to meet project timelines • Read and interpret policies and procedures for title clearing per client standards • Prepare specialized real estate documents and memorandums for clients and projects

What You Bring

• Preferred: Degree or certification in right of way, title, paralegal, real property law, mortgage lending, or equivalent experience; local candidates preferred • Minimum 5 years experience in right of way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending • Knowledge of real estate title practices, underwriting, title insurance, and public records research • Ability to review diverse real estate documents such as plans, surveys, deeds, easements, liens, and probates • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Understanding of the Uniform Relocation Act, Eminent Domain Process, and relevant statutes and ordinances • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines • Highly motivated with capability to direct others and prioritize tasks • Required certification license in states where work is performed • Solid organizational and planning abilities • Familiarity with Database, ProjectWise, and GIS is a plus • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Webex, and Teams
