About the Role
Provide engineering leadership for new technology development, advance engineering, pursuit, new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining engineering for the Power Connection & PD&P product line, which includes LV/HV terminals & connectors, stamped battery terminals, eyelets, busbars, BDU, PDU, breakers and fuses. Provide portfolio leadership for eMobility cost‑out and OPEX across three product lines—Power Connection, PD&P and LVPC—through strategic value analysis, ideation and implementation of cost‑out ideas via the VA PROLaunch process with a global cross‑functional team. Lead the program‑management function for eMobility and execute NPI and VA programs flawlessly by closely collaborating with business functions. Leverage manufacturing and supply‑chain experience to advance programs while ensuring product quality and cost competitiveness. Provide transformational leadership, supervision, coaching and mentorship to senior talent, including engineering managers, lead engineers, program managers and portfolio/product‑strategy managers. Demonstrate a proven track record of managing and developing a team of more than 40 engineers, cost‑out specialists and program‑management professionals. Bring deep experience in engineering and R&D, with accountability for portfolio growth and persistence in achieving business goals. Collaborate with global engineering, SCM, manufacturing and finance teams to drive eMobility cost‑out through strategic value analysis and the VA PROLaunch methodology. • Lead new technology development, advance engineering, NPI, and sustaining engineering for Power Connection & PD&P product lines. • Drive eMobility cost‑out and OPEX initiatives across Power Connection, PD&P, and LVPC through strategic value analysis and VA PROLaunch. • Oversee program management for eMobility, ensuring flawless execution of NPI and VA programs. • Apply manufacturing and supply chain expertise to achieve product quality and cost competitiveness. • Provide transformational leadership, coaching, and mentorship to senior engineering and program managers. • Manage and develop a 40+ strong multidisciplinary team. • Collaborate with global Engineering, SCM, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to deliver cost‑out strategies. • Champion a professional, analysis‑first culture and DfX deployment. • Foster boundaryless teamwork and make effective decisions in ambiguous situations.

What You Bring
Hold a graduate degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic or production engineering and possess 18+ years of industry experience in multinational organizations. Have a demonstrated ability to influence global, cross‑functional organizations and at least five years of experience working in North America, Europe or APAC, with international exposure preferred. Offer extensive product‑design, cost‑out, program‑management and manufacturing/SCM experience, and a deep understanding of market and regulatory trends in vehicle, power‑electronics and data‑center domains. Expertise includes new‑product and technology development using a stage‑gate approach, as well as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfM&A). Experience with supplier selection, technical assessments and process audits is highly valued. Demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder relationship skills, translating market needs into customer‑centric solutions with technical experts. Promote and maintain a professional work environment, an analysis‑first culture and DfX deployment for flawless execution.
