What You Bring
The Event Marketing Manager will lead trade‑focused events, connecting with customers, influencers, and industry segments. This hybrid role is based in Indianapolis with up to 30% travel required. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred) and have at least three years of marketing experience, preferably in event management. They must demonstrate strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, customer focus, and the ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts in a matrixed environment. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred) and 3+ years event marketing experience. • Exhibit strong organizational ability to manage multiple tasks, vendors, and deadlines. • Maintain exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrate a customer‑focused mindset when planning and executing events. • Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor quality delivery. • Skilled in budgeting, cost optimization, and delivering high‑quality results. • Able to collaborate effectively within a cross‑functional, matrixed organization.
