The Technician Apprenticeship program trains entry‑level technicians over two years in electrical diagnostics, HVAC component inspection, wheel end, air system, air brake, hydraulic systems, and overall truck preventative maintenance. Success requires logical problem‑solving, a passion for vehicle engineering, and alignment with the company’s core values. Minimum qualifications require a commitment to complete the two‑year apprenticeship, logical problem‑solving abilities, and an interest in engineering and technology. Candidates must be flexible to work nights, weekends, or holidays, uphold Republic Services’ safety, ethics, and respect standards, and be willing to travel to Dallas for training and relocate nationwide after program completion.
