About the Role
The role leads business development, manages key client relationships, oversees project tasks, and mentors junior staff. It provides autonomy to direct and grow the business, focusing on resiliency and sustainable infrastructure using AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling. Leadership includes operating with integrity, providing vision and strategy, setting goals, maintaining positive client relationships, and fostering open communication while growing the Surface Water practice. • Lead business development and manage key client relationships • Oversee project tasks and mentor junior staff • Utilize AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling for stormwater planning and design • Drive resiliency and sustainable infrastructure initiatives • Operate with integrity and develop business vision, strategy, and goals • Build and maintain positive client relationships with open communication • Grow and lead the Surface Water (Hydraulics/Hydrology) practice • Manage projects profitably and transition work to qualified staff • Write proposals, scopes of work, and budgets • Maintain contacts with municipalities, counties, and water management agencies • Mentor and manage staff effectively
