About the Role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. In addition to handling rent delinquency and cash‑flow optimization, the role assumes full responsibility for personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management when the Community Manager is absent, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Post and reconcile daily payments, monitor bad debt, issue late notices, and manage evictions. • Execute month‑end closing procedures, generate financial reports, and maintain accurate resident records. • Screen, hire, train, coach, and supervise onsite staff while promoting compliance with company policies. • Oversee leasing activities, implement marketing plans, and develop resident retention programs. • Address resident complaints, ensure timely maintenance responses, and conduct regular property inspections. • Manage vendor relationships, obtain bids, and control operational expenses efficiently.

What You Bring

The position involves regular onsite attendance, physical activities such as lifting up to 25 lb, ladder use, and occasional overtime or weekend work.
