About the Role

Interns will work as part of the help‑desk team, delivering technology support to end‑users and troubleshooting a variety of hardware including workstations, laptops, printers, plotters, and video‑conferencing equipment. They will handle workstation and telephone additions, moves, and changes across both Windows and Macintosh platforms, and assist with administrative, graphics, and CAD applications, as well as system backup, recovery, and application upgrades. • Provide help‑desk support for end‑users, troubleshooting workstations, laptops, printers, plotters, video‑conferencing units and other peripherals. • Perform workstation and telephone additions, moves, and changes in mixed Windows and Macintosh environments. • Maintain and support administrative, graphics, and CAD applications, including system backups, recovery, and application upgrades. • Manage multiple shifting priorities, deliver work on time, and work independently within a matrixed environment.

What You Bring

Candidates should have completed at least their second year of undergraduate study in Information Technology or a related field, possess proven troubleshooting ability in a fast‑paced setting, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to lift and move PCs and monitors up to 50 lb is required, along with basic knowledge of Windows and macOS desktop troubleshooting. The ideal intern is resource‑self‑motivated, an enthusiastic team player, has shown leadership in school or community, can manage multiple shifting priorities, and works well independently within a matrixed organization. • Completed at least two years of undergraduate study toward a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to lift/move PCs and monitors up to 50 lb. • Possess basic knowledge of desktop troubleshooting for both Windows and macOS platforms.
