About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role also includes ensuring the vehicle meets the Company’s safety standards, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections—checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls—followed by reporting any safety issues. Drivers follow assigned route sheets, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and transport refuse, and dispose of material at designated facilities. They interact courteously with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, clean spills per safety standards, and keep the truck clean during each trip. Accurate completion of route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports is essential, as is maintaining productivity standards and participating in the Company’s ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
The position requires a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement, strong customer service skills, effective time management, and the ability to follow company policies and safety standards without taking inappropriate risks.
