About the Role
The Talent Strategy, Planning and Execution role for the ANZ region partners with the People & Culture Director to shape and implement talent management strategies that align with global frameworks. It owns the end‑to‑end talent review cycle, succession planning for critical positions, and data‑driven forecasting to ensure the right talent is in place. The role also governs talent data, captures insights, and translates them into actionable plans. A key part of the position is to act as the liaison between ANZ business leaders and global talent teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Collaboration with the Learning & Development team oversees AECOM University governance, leadership programmes, and coaching for high‑potential staff. The incumbent also champions DEI, monitors employee engagement through pulse surveys, and advises on actions to improve retention. Responsibility extends to performance and promotions reporting, designing promotion workflows, and analysing regional rating outcomes. The role leads early‑career development, delivering virtual instructor‑led trainings, mentoring and graduate events across ANZ. It also maintains onboarding materials, runs the Discover AECOM program, and ensures a consistent experience at scale. • Design and implement ANZ talent management strategies aligned with global frameworks. • Lead cyclical talent reviews, succession planning, and talent assessments for critical roles. • Analyze internal and external talent data to inform retention, capability and workforce plans. • Partner with business leaders to forecast talent needs and create actionable talent pipelines. • Serve as primary liaison between ANZ region and global talent teams, ensuring alignment. • Oversee AECOM University governance, leadership development programs and learning hours. • Coach high‑potential employees and embed talent principles across managers and leaders. • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion within talent management initiatives. • Manage employee engagement pulse surveys, analyze results and drive action plans. • Support performance and promotions reporting, workflow design and moderation analysis. • Coordinate early‑career programs, virtual trainings, mentoring and graduate events. • Maintain onboarding materials and lead the Discover AECOM program governance.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a relevant tertiary qualification, such as Business, and bring at least seven years of talent‑management experience. Proven expertise in succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement and data storytelling with Excel and PowerPoint is required. Strong commercial acumen, project‑management discipline and awareness of talent‑market trends are also essential. • Hold a tertiary qualification in Business or a related field. • Possess 7+ years of relevant talent‑management experience. • Demonstrate advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and storytelling. • Exhibit strong commercial acumen and project‑management capability.
