About the Role
• Dismantle, move, install, and rearrange machine tools and mechanical equipment. • Construct, erect, align, and repair plant equipment such as overhead hoists, tracks, and conveyors. • Set up rigging and use hoists, cranes, block‑and‑tackle, rollers, pinch bars, and welding/cutting equipment. • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and verbal/written instructions to complete tasks. • Perform work at heights using ladders, catwalks, lifts, and boom lifts. • Safely handle and clean up liquid and solid hazardous materials as required.

What You Bring
The position requires hands‑on work at height using ladders, catwalks, lifts and boom lifts, as well as the safe handling and cleanup of hazardous liquids and solids when needed. All work follows blueprints, drawings, and verbal or written directions, using trade‑standard tools such as hoists, cranes, block‑and‑tackle, rollers, and welding equipment. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and the role does not allow remote work. Applicants must have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training to qualify as a Journeyman, be able to read blueprints and perform basic math, and demonstrate a commitment to Rolls‑Royce’s safety‑first principles. Experience with proper hazardous‑material handling is preferred. • Completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training to become a Journeyman. • Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations. • Preferred experience with safe handling of hazardous materials.
