About the Role

The role involves operating front‑end loaders and forklifts, handling stocktaking, coordinating with dispatch and drivers, maintaining the yard, organising raw‑material deliveries, performing minor plant maintenance, and operating the batch plant. Hymix is seeking a reliable, committed and safety‑focused Concrete Plant Operator for its South‑East Queensland team, responsible for daily duties at the Gold Coast concrete plants. Ideal candidates are motivated self‑starters with a willingness to learn concrete plant operations, capable of manual labour, and possessing mechanical knowledge. They should work well in a small team, multitask, make quick decisions under pressure, solve problems, and hold reliable transport and an Australian driver’s licence (P platers accepted). • Eager to learn concrete plant operation and maintenance • Physically able to perform manual labour • Mechanical knowledge (highly regarded) • Works well within a small team • Ability to multitask and make quick effective decisions under pressure • Natural problem solver who enjoys planning and troubleshooting • Reliable transport and Australian driver’s licence (P platers accepted) • Upskilling and training for relevant tickets
