About the Role

The Senior Manager – Human Resources will support the People & Culture function within MasTec's Clean Energy & Infrastructure Renewables sector, leading HR operations for various groups. This role focuses on business growth, workforce strategy, talent initiatives, change management, and leadership development aligned with operational goals, while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Key responsibilities include acting as a strategic HR business partner, overseeing daily People & Culture team operations, analyzing workforce trends with HR data tools, developing talent strategies, guiding performance management and succession planning, and leading organizational change initiatives. The role also involves mentoring HR staff, collaborating with training, and ensuring consistent HR policy application. • Consult and coach departmental leaders to align with business vision, mission, and objectives. • Oversee daily operations and workflow of People & Culture teams. • Analyze workforce trends using HR data, dashboards, and Power BI. • Develop talent strategies and strategic resource forecasts with leaders. • Provide HR policy, program, and best practice guidance to senior leadership and staff. • Lead performance management, employee development, and succession planning. • Support organizational change initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement. • Mentor, coach, and develop HR team members for effective service delivery. • Collaborate with the training department to educate employees on HR best practices. • Advise managers on employee relations, discipline, and corrective actions. • Partner with Compensation Manager on promotions and pay equity decisions. • Review contracts for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Ensure adherence to labor relations policies and union guidelines. • Lead special projects aligned with organizational goals and strategies. • Onboard, train, and supervise HR Business Partners. • Maintain up‑to‑date HR and industry knowledge to ensure compliance. • Travel as needed to support various office locations and projects.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold at least an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and possess seven or more years of relevant experience.
