About the Role
The role is responsible for ensuring supplier training and actions are implemented to achieve defect‑free product supply and overall supplier performance improvement. Key duties include managing PPAP approvals, resolving technical and system issues, analyzing supplier problems with statistical tools, driving corrective actions, and coordinating between suppliers and internal functions to improve closure times and accuracy. The position also monitors supplier performance, leads process transitions with accurate documentation, acts as a single point of contact for multiple sites, and promotes a continuous‑improvement culture across teams and suppliers. • Manage PPAP approval process for external and internal suppliers across Electrical sector sites. • Identify, investigate and resolve supplier technical or system issues to achieve effective closures, including change management and correlation problems. • Analyze supplier issues using statistical and analytical tools to drive improvements. • Implement corrective actions and process efficiency measures (CAR/CAPA) to meet on‑time closure goals. • Troubleshoot closures in coordination with global stakeholders. • Support data analysis and business growth initiatives for supplier quality processes. • Anticipate customer requirements and deliver customer‑centric solutions with quick turnaround on ad‑hoc requests. • Coordinate between suppliers and internal functions (engineering, plants, operations) to clarify requirements and reduce closure lead time and errors. • Monitor and communicate performance of key suppliers. • Lead process transitions with accurate, timely documentation. • Act as single point of contact, leading projects across multiple sites and customers. • Foster strong engagement with quality, SQE, SDE, SCM, CM, and engineering teams. • Promote a continuous‑improvement culture within the team and at supplier sites.

What You Bring
Required knowledge includes supplier change management, SPC, Gauge R&R, and manufacturing processes such as electrical/electronic components, molding, machining, casting, forging, and stamping. Candidates should hold a BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering and have 4–8 years of experience in supplier development, quality, manufacturing, or process engineering, with exposure to global customers and suppliers.
