Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently across multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, suggest appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily unit inspections ensure inventory accuracy and availability, while cash drawer audits and bank deposits are handled as part of routine operations. Managers also keep customers current on payments by making reminder and collection calls when necessary. • Assess customer storage needs and recommend packing/moving supplies. • Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure availability. • Audit cash drawers and perform bank deposits. • Make payment reminders and collection calls to keep accounts current. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and spend up to 50 % of time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal.

What You Bring

Physical requirements include the ability to lift or move items up to 35 pounds and spend up to half of the workday in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors. Cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interior areas, and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal are also expected. Successful candidates come from customer‑service‑oriented sales backgrounds, such as retail, restaurant, fast‑food, or other service‑based roles. A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are required for traveling between work locations, with mileage reimbursement available. • Prior experience in customer‑service‑focused sales (retail, restaurant, fast‑food, etc.).
