About the Role

The Regional Manager is tasked with addressing field‑based assignments within a designated region or specific "store within a store" location, as well as on a national scale. Their primary objective is to rehabilitate these locations, restoring performance to operational standards and profitability goals, ensuring a smooth transition back to regular management. Acting as an agile operator, the Regional Manager adapts to business needs and maintains proactive communication with the Regional Director regarding all operational aspects they are assigned to. Depending on business requirements, assignments can last up to 10 weeks, requiring the Regional Manager to quickly relocate and assume full managerial responsibilities in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and daily operations. They will oversee the complete Talent Acquisition process for Sales Representatives and may also participate in Store Manager interviews. This role oversees the following retail locations: Bass Pro – Manteca, CA; Bass Pro – Rocklin, CA; Bass Pro – San Jose, CA; GWL – Manteca, CA. • Manage short‑term, field‑based assignments to rehabilitate underperforming stores. • Restore locations to operational standards and profitability targets. • Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Director. • Relocate quickly for assignments lasting up to 10 weeks. • Lead talent acquisition for Sales Representatives and assist in Store Manager interviews. • Oversee daily operations, learning and development, and other managerial duties. • Supervise specified retail sites: Bass Pro (Manteca, Rocklin, San Jose) and GWL (Manteca).
