About the Role
The Scheduler works with site teams and trade partners to develop project schedules using critical path method (CPM) software, supports supervision by monitoring and updating those schedules, and assists site management in creating mitigation plans for scheduling challenges. What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler II who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and possess at least two years of construction experience or an equivalent mix of training and experience. Desired qualifications include project engineer experience, basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, construction practices, project sequencing, contracts, and buyout, as well as strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum two years of construction experience (or equivalent training). • Project engineer experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts and company software. • Understanding of construction practices, sequencing, contracts, and buyout. • Ability to read, review, and interpret plans and specifications. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Creative judgment in solving problems. • Effective communication and active listening skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. • Willingness to travel as needed.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $89,500 to $120,800, with higher ranges for specific office locations, and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
