About the Role

The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role focuses on servicing automatic doors, with AAADM certification preferred, and includes repairing or replacing ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least two years of experience as an automatic‑door installer or service technician and a strong mechanical aptitude. Preferred qualifications include AAADM certification, carpentry skills for partition framing and door/window installation, and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. A positive, professional attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints are essential, as is the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key duties involve performing repairs and replacements on a variety of door types and hardware, conducting preventative maintenance, and utilizing carpentry expertise for framing and installations. Technicians must deliver excellent customer service, adhere to detailed processes, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Experience with door manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is considered a plus.
