About the Role

The on‑site Project Leader is responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects for assigned customers, ensuring safety and cost‑effectiveness. This role integrates hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and network commissioning to deliver fully functional systems. In addition to technical delivery, the leader maintains overall project financial health, overseeing costs, billings, collections, and actively pursuing change orders to protect profitability. Continuous communication with the customer throughout all phases guarantees satisfaction and proper warranty execution while adhering to regulatory and safety standards. • Lead on-site project planning, implementation, and closeout for assigned customers. • Oversee hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and network commissioning. • Manage project finances including costs, billing, collections, and pursue change orders. • Communicate with customers throughout project phases and ensure warranty execution. • Direct subcontractors, installers, technicians, and designers while ensuring compliance with AHJ regulations and safety standards. • Select, order, and schedule materials; secure pricing and manage vendor relationships. • Perform system loading, device verification, and commissioning; validate functionality and resolve issues. • Produce accurate as‑built and commissioning documentation and provide training to owners/operators. • Coach and mentor technical staff and subcontractors; ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget and scope. • Report project status, forecast revenue, costs, and gross margin to management.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or technical degree required. • Minimum 2 years field project management experience with digital literacy and project accounting knowledge. • At least 3 years experience in Access Control, Fire, Video, or related systems design and commissioning. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Preferred: 7+ years field experience in fire/security space.
