About the Role

In this role you will collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists as part of a dynamic, consultative team on defence infrastructure projects across Australia. You will leverage existing networks and build new relationships within Defence and partner organisations, contribute to the Defence Client Account Management strategy, mentor emerging talent, and support quality and service delivery initiatives such as DSC, DSSC, advisory and environmental services. You will also champion innovation and digital solutions to enhance client value and project outcomes. • Lead AECOM’s Defence market strategy in Western Australia, driving client engagement and regional capability growth. • Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists on defence infrastructure projects across Australia. • Build and maintain key relationships within Defence and partner networks. • Contribute to Defence Client Account Management strategy and mentor emerging talent. • Champion innovation and digital solutions to enhance client value and project outcomes.

AECOM has created a unique Associate Director level Civil Engineer opportunity within its growing Defence Infrastructure practice in ANZ. The role leads AECOM’s Defence market strategy in Western Australia, driving client engagement, expanding regional capabilities, and supporting strategic pursuits across Defence design and consulting services. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent and has demonstrated experience managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
