About the Role

In the role of Sr. Project Manager you are responsible for the overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout. Safety is the number one priority at Pepper Construction and the Sr. Project Manager is expected to promote and exemplify safe work practices while working with all levels of Project Management and Field Supervision to set operational priorities and ensure quality. You will maintain positive and effective relationships with internal and external team members, contribute to strategic planning and growth of the workplace market segment, and serve as a leader and mentor to less experienced staff. The Sr. Project Manager oversees project management, leadership, and business development functions, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and team mentorship throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure client satisfaction by identifying and exceeding needs • Estimate, value engineer, and develop project budgets • Facilitate subcontractor bidding process and manage documentation • Utilize software tools to track project documents and schedules • Negotiate subcontractor agreements and material buyouts • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project execution • Oversee subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, quality, and safety on site • Monitor and control project costs, forecast expenses, and analyze profitability • Perform project closeout activities • Manage projects up to $50 million and stay current with workplace design trends • Provide leadership, relationship building, motivation, clear direction, and mentorship • Train and mentor less experienced staff • Engage with clients and prospects to identify new work opportunities • Prepare and deliver client presentations and project interviews • Negotiate and secure new business contracts

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a B.S. in Construction, Engineering, or a related field and possess 10‑15 years of project management experience.
