About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at JLL in Loxley, AL, you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, as well as mentoring junior technicians. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time. Daily duties involve promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on equipment such as belts, motors, and relays, and maintaining positive relationships across the facility. You will also track inventory and handle physical tasks such as moving up to 49 lb and standing for up to 12‑hour shifts. Flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays, are expected. • Promote safety by following all procedures • Perform preventative maintenance and document activities • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues on material handling equipment • Maintain positive relationships across operations and manage inventory • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills

Physical abilities such as lifting, bending, and working in confined or noisy environments are required. • Meet physical demands: lift up to 49 lb, stand/walk 12‑hour shifts, work in confined spaces • Required: high school diploma/EQUIV, 2+ years MHE repair experience, predictive/preventative maintenance • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical, conveyor system experience, blueprint reading, CMMS, robotic maintenance • Travel up to 20% as needed
