About the Role

The Human Resources Generalist serves as the primary contact for employees and managers, overseeing day‑to‑day talent management, employee relations, compensation administration, and compliance. They manage recruitment, training, evaluations, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations. Key responsibilities include managing the full recruitment cycle, delivering onboarding and orientation, interpreting HR policies, resolving employee issues, supporting benefits administration (open enrollment, COBRA, invoices), administering workers’ compensation, disability and leave programs, and monitoring regulatory changes to update the employee handbook. They also conduct compensation analyses, lead cross‑functional HR projects, produce onboarding/termination reports, train managers and staff on HR processes, and maintain HR system updates for job, salary, and organization changes. • Conduct full-cycle recruiting: write ads, source, screen, interview, extend offers, and run background checks. • Coordinate onboarding and new‑hire orientation. • Interpret and advise on HR policies and procedures for employees and managers. • Resolve employee issues and escalate complex matters to HR leadership. • Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, COBRA, and invoice verification. • Manage workers’ compensation, disability, and leave documentation. • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and update handbook policies. • Perform compensation market analysis and provide insights to leadership. • Lead cross‑functional HR projects such as engagement, benefits, and compensation initiatives. • Generate and analyze onboarding and termination reports for HR leadership. • Deliver training on performance appraisals, leave of absence, recruitment, and policy changes. • Update HR systems for job title, salary, and organizational changes.

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and at least one year of HR experience, preferably in professional services. Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to apply and interpret HR policies are essential. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. • Possess at least one year of HR experience, preferably in professional services. • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Show proven experience applying and interpreting HR policies.
