About the Role
Daily responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and washing interior floors and surfaces using both light and commercial‑grade floor buffers and shampoo machines. The role also involves vacuuming rugs, spot‑cleaning and shampooing them as directed, dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and performing high dusting when needed. Interior glass, windowsills, doors, partitions, and entrance glass are cleaned, and bathroom areas are maintained, restocked, and inspected for defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functional lights. Trash is collected and placed in approved containers, liners are replaced, and snow or ice is removed from entrances and walkways as required. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces using buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs, perform spot cleaning, and shampoo rugs as directed. • Clean interior glass, windowsills, doors, partitions, and entrance glass. • Maintain and clean bathrooms, restock supplies, and report defects. • Collect building trash, replace liners in waste containers, and ensure proper disposal. • Remove snow or shovel walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways. • Perform periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing.

What You Bring
No prior cleaning experience is required, but candidates must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team. The ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including portable backpack vacuums, is essential. Applicants should demonstrate attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, strong organization, and high levels of energy and endurance. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and high surfaces. • No prior cleaning experience required. • Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision. • Team‑oriented with strong cooperation skills. • Proficient in using portable vacuums and other cleaning equipment. • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, and high energy/endurance.

Benefits
Compensation for the role ranges from $14.45 to $17.00 per hour, with competitive pay that may vary based on location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements. Eligible employees can enroll in a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, as well as paid and unpaid time off. The company will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage.
