About the Role

The role offers a broad scope, covering capability shaping, concept development, detailed design, system integration, safety and risk analysis, verification and validation activities, and contractual and technical review to enable successful delivery of the NPS capability. • Conduct capability shaping, concept development, and full requirements analysis/specification. • Perform detailed design, system integration, implementation, and produce engineering artefacts. • Identify hazards, conduct safety analyses, and develop risk and hazard reports. • Plan and execute verification & validation activities, produce artefacts, and deliver integration certification. • Review contract deliverables and generate required plans, reports, and documentation. • Maintain a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) security clearance; ITAR compliance may be required.

What You Bring

Candidates need an engineering degree, relevant defence experience, and appropriate security clearance, along with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. • Hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Australian or Washington‑Accord‑recognised) with maritime platform integration experience. • Demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
