About the Role
The Project Engineer will support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and transportation projects, providing technical leadership, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring high‑quality design solutions that meet project goals, schedules, and applicable design standards. • Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans using DOT and local criteria. • Develop 3‑D corridor models in GEOPAK or OpenRoads. • Coordinate design tasks across disciplines and propose innovative solutions. • Assign, track, and review work of technicians, designers, and engineers to meet schedules. • Perform quality control of final design deliverables. • Prepare engineering reports and contract documents; conduct independent peer reviews. • Review external contract plans and calculations for code compliance. • Serve as Engineer‑of‑Record for mid‑size transportation designs. • Present design solutions in internal meetings and to external stakeholders. • Support marketing efforts with resume updates, proposal assistance, and campaign participation. • Complete timesheets, expense reports, and manage labor hours promptly. • Mentor team members, provide feedback, and foster career development.

What You Bring
