About the Role

The engineer will coordinate testing activities with project engineers and lab technicians, develop complete bills of materials, and review test plans to ensure design compliance. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment and test chambers are calibrated, overseeing testing in psychrometric chambers, and validating data for product evaluation. • Coordinate testing activities with Project Engineers and Lab Technicians. • Develop and manage bills of materials for testing and rework. • Review and validate test plans to ensure design compliance. • Ensure test equipment and psychrometric chambers are calibrated and functional. • Perform R&D testing of HVAC products and oversee test execution. • Analyze test data against DOE, ASHRAE, ASME, ISO, and related standards. • Lead small, short‑term projects independently. • Maintain effective teamwork in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting.

What You Bring

The position requires a four‑year ABET‑accredited engineering degree or equivalent, 1–2 years of HVAC industry experience, and EPA 608 certification. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, multitasking, and teamwork abilities, and be able to lift up to 50 lb while working in varied temperature and chemical environments. • Communicate test results clearly in written and oral formats. • Lift up to 50 lb and work in environments with temperature extremes and chemical fumes.
