About the Role
The BIM Manager develops and implements the Building Information Modeling process, supporting software applications and project teams. Responsibilities include training staff, troubleshooting files, coordinating BIM models with architects, and leading production of MEP models on active projects. The role also serves as a production leader, ensuring standards, templates, and collaboration across offices. • Oversee BIM software for the MEPT engineering department, handling installation, configuration, maintenance, and user issue analysis. • Provide end‑user training, support, and leadership. • Manage and create content library files and templates, enforce standards, and evaluate project models. • Analyze and integrate process improvements in collaboration with the Revit committee and project teams. • Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards. • Create, manage, and maintain software template files. • Ensure effective collaboration and standardization across offices. • Support plotting and electronic file submissions. • Automate BIM routines to boost productivity and compliance with standards. • Assist project teams with BIM project setup. • Resolve major BIM modeling challenges for users of varying experience levels. • Manage and distribute coordinated digital documents to project teams. • Communicate with engineers to receive, coordinate, and update electronic models. • Link BIM to construction administration phases for submittals, shop drawings, and schedules. • Contribute to project modeling and detailing work. • Manage implementation of supporting BIM software. • Stay informed on best practices for Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, and BIM. • Keep up with other BIM‑related software and their integration with Revit. • Install and provide support for related BIM software.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and have at least five years of design, drafting, or engineering production experience with BIM management in an A/E/C firm. Advanced proficiency in Revit, solid knowledge of AutoCAD, and an understanding of architecture, project delivery, and construction methods are required. Strong communication, self‑motivation, service orientation, and the ability to manage priorities with minimal guidance are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. • Minimum 5 years of design, drafting, or engineering production experience with BIM management in an A/E/C firm. • Advanced proficiency in Revit and solid knowledge of AutoCAD; skilled with digital technology tools. • Understanding of architectural practice, project delivery, and construction methods. • Passion for design technologies and developing practices that increase user effectiveness. • Exceptional work ethic, adherence to company values, and high standards of conduct. • Strong interpersonal skills and effective teamwork. • Ability to assume additional responsibilities and prioritize tasks with minimal guidance. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Willingness to travel for interoffice meetings, conferences, and seminars.
